Ways to unlock iPhone

The hardware requirements for such an operation are quite basic. Get hold of a paper clip to begin with. Now unfold the clip in a way so that the wire length at one end is free for getting into one of the small holes. Now stick you paperclips pointed head in the tiny hole you have just beside the jack where the headphone goes in of your phone.

In order to unlock iphone you need to now push that paperclip in that hole of the phone, till the tray holding the SIM card pops out. Now simply replace it with another SIM of your choice. Now that you know how to physically unlock your iPhone 3G, you need to have the knowledge of helping your handset to recognize the new SIM as well. You see, this iPhone 3G has an excellent built of an astounding smart phone, and indeed comes with lots of potential. But, due to the lock on the phone, a bunch of its potentials remain unused until you unlock the software OS of the iPhone.

In order to unlock iPhone 3G software you definitely need help. There is a popular unlocking application available in the market known as Yellowsn0w unlock. But that requires an update with the firmware version 2.2 for installing it in the unlock 3g. However, before you go about unlocking the phone with a firmware update and the Yellosn0w application, make sure that your iPhone is readily compatible with any of this. Once that is confirmed and the decision is taken, go to iTunes for getting the firmware update done. And now that you have the firmware, get the iPhone jailbroken to be ready for the Yellowsn0w update.

Now once you are almost done with the steps to unlock iPhone install the Yellowsn0w application. First go in the setting of the iPhone, and then from their select general, and then network. All this is done so that you can reach the 3G option to turn it off, which is an essential next step. Now turn off the GPRS in the phone as well. Once all of it is done you are all ready to OS unlocking the iPhone 3G by starting the Yellowsn0w procedures.
