Have you seen a dog driving a motorhome? Well, I’ve just learned about it in the news today. It was reported that Woodley the dog was sitting in the driver’s seat of a motorhome when he dislodged the parking break and then went for a ride. A sales assistant, Phil Newton could not believe his eyes when he saw a dog driving a 20-tonne, double-decker bus through Darwin’s industrial zone.

The dog’s owner Richard McCormack, 62, said: “He sits next to me when I’m driving and in the driver’s seat when I’m not.“The handbrake is on the dashboard and he’s seen me release it many times.He was just copying me. “He’s tried it on before.”

Mr McCormack just parked his motor home in Winnellie Rd, which runs down a slight hill, to inquire about motor home repair work. He left the dog in the bus and was gone only a couple of minutes, that was the time when Woodley go for a spin. After the motorhome moved about two hundred yards, McCormack was able to jump inside and stop it.

Are excited for this year’s Black Friday sales? Christmas is just around the corner and it’s nice to prepare our gifts as early as today. For this year I’m thinking of giving each of my niece and nephews a cookie gift basket instead of toys or cash. If time permits I would like to make the cookies on my own and prepare a personalized cookie basket for them. If not, i can always find great options online where i could order.
